Riel loves the sport of rugby and the impact it has on young lives. He coaches because he wants to teach kids and students to love the sport. He is dedicated to growing the sport in the USA so that the Eagles can become a major impact on world rugby. He founded the Falcons as the first youth club in Northern Colorado Springs in 2008 and has coaching experience at every level from 6-year olds through college teams. He is a level 200 certified coach.

Nicole Brashears
Athletic Trainer
Nicole founded Sideline Sports Medicine in Colorado, in 2018. She recognized a need in the community for medical care for various sporting events and athletes. Nicole earned her Master of Sciences in Sports Medicine from The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) and her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Chapman University in Orange, CA. Nicole has worked as an Athletic Trainer in the sport of rugby for five years. She has been the primary medical provider for high school and collegiate level teams, as well as working as one of the many athletic trainers for Rugby Colorado since 2016. Full time, Nicole works as the Head Athletic Trainer at Johnson and Wales University in Denver, CO.
Nicole’s goal is to be an advocate for her patients’ best interests while providing compassionate and quality healthcare. She specializes in injury evaluations, concussion management, prevention and rehabilitative services.
